Can I align this myself?

I recently noticed my passenger side door was misaligned on my GT. I feel like I would have noticed this before for sure but I also dont understand how it would have moved.
I made an appt. with my dealer a week from now but if I can do it easily myself I see no reason to go.

That's pretty bad. Almost looks like the door is sprung outward down low.

dude. so many people have issues with panels being misaligned. i had a pretty horrific experience when i took mine to the dealer. search for them and youll see.

If you have to ask how it can be that way, you don't know enough about door hinges and mountings to fix it. They are quite complex, with multiple degrees of freedom and adjustment. Let the dealer do it.

^ I agree. Doors can be such a PITA. I'm not messing with any issues on mine because it's under warranty but if it weren't I'd be able to get the door aligned pretty decent.

Hell, depending on what needs done sometimes body shops will actually bend a door hing e a little bit (within a given tolerance) to achieve a flush look and smooth close.

I wouldnt mess with it. Take it to the dealer and have them fix under warranty
