Mine is like this (because modded)

When the light switch is off stock drls are on
When the lights are on at position 2: Tribar DRL are on with sidelight
When the 'headlight' is selected (postiion 3): Headlights, DRL, Sidelight
When on Auto: well, it's auto.
And how is this a help to a guy with standard lights? :frusty::lol:
He's just trying to rub it in 'cos he's got his tri-bars working and nobody else has :tsk::D:tsk:

Edit... got competition from stevec now!

I have a strong hatred of laser bright DRL's where the fog lights should be especially when idiot drivers leave the DRL's shining brightly in the twilight of a cloudy UK day. Thats why we have sidelights. They provide sufficient illumination to be seen by other traffic without being blinding. DRL's only make any sense at more equatorial latitudes where the days are much brighter and the transition from day to night occurs much quicker. At our latitude in the UK, especially with the weather we have, sidelights and headlights are much more appropriate.
The sooner they get banned on safety grounds the better!
Oh dear, you wont be liking me much then. Just spent shit loads on my DRLs and I intend using them. Just dont look in your mirrors when I am following you on the 19th

Well.

Without modding it should be:

P1: Off
p2: DRL
p3: Sidelight/headlight
p4: Auto
Should be this unmodded
1 - off, DRL on with engine start
2 - Sidelights + Rears, DRL off
3 - Headlights / Sidelights + Rears
4 - Auto

Mark... duh!
Vehicle(s)
Ruby Red Mustang GT ...just sold :-(
Just noticed this...

When the light switch is fully off, the DRLs are on
When the lights are on at the first position, no lights work
When the sidelights are selected, the headlamps come on
And headlamps work as normal.

Car in for service Friday so will raise it then...
Turns out it was the LED sidelights that were causing the issue (they actually came back on today before I took the car in but were both flickering). Odd as they were the exact spec posted on the forum. So... yellowy original bulbs put back and all is well in the world.

If you got the eBay ones it was probably just a dodgy bulb. They are cheap rubbish so a bit hit and miss with them

Yeah you need canbus error free ones otherwise, they'll cause issues with relays etc.
