Can a dealer change priority code after ordering?

'16 GT Premium + PP
I ordered my car ('16 GT Premium w/PP) on 8/28 and it has a priority code of 18. I tried to log into COTUS for the first time this morning and it says it can't find the order (I don't have a VIN, using info from the order confirmation sheet I was given).

So I was going to contact the dealer this afternoon and see if they have any info yet. Even though it has been a week since I ordered can they still change the priority code? If so I was going to also see if I can get them to give me a lower number.

none of the 16s are in COTUS yet, so don't worry about it =)

As far as if they can change the code, yeah, I think so, but from what I've found, the priority code is kind of far down the list on things that determine its build date.

For example, in my case, I ordered a 16 on May 27th and mine is also not in COTUS or have a build date, but I do have a vin at least =P

I ordered 7/13 received my Vin# 5 days ago and is on the assembly line today.
ETA for delivery in Louisiana, 9/26/15

Man, your time frame would be exactly what I'm looking for. I was hoping to get mine near my birthday, which coincedentally is 9/26. I ordered 7/7 but only have a VIN#.

Priority Codes can be changed after an order is placed. I always order cars for customers in order by date they ordered. First one in is PC 10, the 11, and so on.
