I'm curious about what everyone has for their setup for recording track days. I've seen video's where there was vehicle information overlaid on the recording, Anyone know what is involved with something like that?

Probably Harry's Lap Timer or another phone app. The serious racers have full on dedicated GPS's and recording equipment though.

I use Harry's Lap Timer with my iPhone (attached to the front windshield) and a GoPro mounted externally on the driver's side rear quarter windrow. The GoPro angle is cool because you can see the steering input.
