hello all, I'm about to order some wheels and just wanted to get a good idea of how big the calipers are for the s550 GT and ecoboost.

I'm assuming the GT has bigger calipers than the ecoboost, but do they have clearance issues where the wheels have to have a higher disk pad to clear the calipers ?

I want a very concave set up and so need to understand where the caliper are at in relation to the wheel.

thanks

depends on the model
Base EB and V6 have the small calipers
PP EB and Base GT have the 4 pistons
PP GT has the brembo calipers

I'm assuming the GT premium package with brembos would be the only version with the clearance issues ya ?

all the other variations should not have any clearance issues ya ?

depends on the model

Honestly I would not worry about the calipers on your car/ I would recommend selecting a few wheels that interest you and speak with either one of the authorized dealers or the brand to see if the wheel is available for your car model.
knowing the size and exact measurements of your caliper will mean nothing unless you know what wheel, size, specs, width you want or need then you can check both to see if they work. just cause lets say 1 brand makes a 19" or 20" wheel that concaves and dont clear douse not mean that the next brand will have the same issue.

What Carlos is saying is that wheels are not all created equally.
Offset means everything.

in general though, i'm assuming the GT performance pack will be the only trim that requires a "higher disk" front wheel .
