CAI- closed vs. Open

I have the JLT open box CAI and noticed IAT are running higher. Upwards of 150-160 if I'm sitting. The CAI required a tune, I'm curious if I was to trade it out for a closed box that doesn't require a tune would I need to retune my car? I like what I have but think I pull in too much engine temp...would there be another way to remedy this without a new CAI? I know most high mustangs are open box...
