BUYER BEWARE - Ebay decklids

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, after a wholly poor experience.
Purchased a 'custom airbrushed decklid' from eBay (seller m*engineering*c) for £150 - bargain i thought!
When it arrived, the quality of the workmanship was truly awful. I'd requested a smooth panel with a silver / ally looking badge airbrushed on.
What i received was a (wonky) gt sticker that had been touched up & lacquered over, with giant amounts of silver overspray on the black background.
Filler used to fill the holes from the original badge hadn't been sanded smooth & there was damage across the top edge of the panel.
Had to push to get a refund & my postage refunded. I notice the same panel is now straight back for sale.
Heads up guys, there's some cowboys out there!

Yup, that's the one - straight back on sale.
The pics I had initially were before it was cleared & looked good.....it wasn't

He can sell what ever he wants, as long as the descriptions accurate.

I will never understand how people can put stuff like this up for sale. I bet he would never put that on his car for the same reasons no one else would yet has the cheek to sell it without highlighting the shoddy workmanship.

Probably have more luck if he just sanded it all off and re-sprayed it.

He did offer to fix it tbf - but if you're willing to let something leave your workshop in that state to start with, my expectations on a 2nd go weren't high!
