Agreed! How do you like the Essex with the Ferodos? Are they daily drivable?

I feel I'm going to have to get rotors eventually if I keep doing these events and I had Ferodos on my EVO VIII. All I remember is that they were screamers.. LOL

I actually had a 03 EVO GSR and ran DS2500 at my first trackday. I agree they were terrible on the street. When it was cold and at slow speed they would squeal till I got the car to a complete stop.

They are fantastic, maybe over the past 5+years they have changes the compound but these are silent.

I was very concerned as well. The DS1.11s have alittle bit of noise but are excellent on the track. It was interesting see how much less pedal pressure was needed to get the car to stop.

Let me know when your interested!
I have Carbotech Pads as well.

Yeah video is great, very drama free for how fast you are!

Thank you, I'm getting more and more comfortable driving this car.

1. GD those TE's look amazing!
2. How well did the Hankook's hold up?
Yeah that's the only reason I bought the car, I wanted to put TEs on it haha

Excellent, hankooks have always done well for me 3 trackdays down and they have plenty of meat left.

pretty cool stuff... Button is a fun track for sure.

20" rims?
It's my favorite track here.

Yup they are forged and extremely light for their size.

I may get a square 18x10 +40 and do 285s all around or so.

I didn't get 18s in the first place since they will have a lower overall diameter. Maybe when I roast these tires I'll get a second set of wheels.

What is the deal with the Oil Cooler Ducts?

As I have liked the deleted look when Rampart did a render like that, and I would prefer more functionality in the way of brake ducts.

What do you mean?

I added them because there are two oil coolers behind the fog lights.

The ducting makes it more efficient.

Brake ducts are more efficient down low. They will be attached to the splitter in making.

Yeah... I am very familiar with rays/volks. Thats one of the only rims I run (outside of oem). They are the best... but 20" has a centrifugal effect that really hurts direction changes above and beyond the shear weight of the unsprung mass.

I for one want 18" te's, but I am notsure they clear oem brembos. Good thing about the 20"ers is that its the only way to get the machined face.

I actually carry Volks as well.

I have a set here for a customer that's 18x10 +39

It's the new TE37 RT model with the engraved face.

I haven't had a chance to test fit them yet.

I do agree that the 20s are big. On my previous car I ran 17x10 RPf1s with Hankook Slicks.

I'll see what happens in the upcoming months.

Did you make them from scratch?

They look like an existing piece that was modified.
