I believe, and still do, that someone gave Doug direction. Being a super talented artist and having an identical vision of Fords new Mustang are two different things. The front of the concept was dated pre-2010 so, headlight technology hadn't caught up yet. The EVOS was literally being put together the same time this blue color print came out. I believe, the Mustang that was scraped, was mostly fascia reworking to accommodate the new style headlamps. Millions lost during a multi-billion dollar program are pennies down the drain. I'm sure they wanted to save that money but, trend is the word and changes needed made.

I shouldn't have to tell you TT that a great many of posters here, there and over on SVTP had seen the car before release. However, the most vocal of us (myself included), did not see the car and had some help here and there. I don't think Doug seen the car BUT, he could have seen some sketch work. It was the EVOS I was waiting for, and it's fascia... after that, the rest of Doug's rear end flowed into the new fascia. You already know the Mustangs direction from here TT, eventually, the front bumper will drop, upper grill gets larger, head lamps will slit... You yourself posted a Lava Red Vert... that is probably a 2018 or '22 refresh.

Do you remember the sketch work I have been posting? The EVOS sketch that looks so much different than the others??? That is the S550's future...

If the aftermarket would make that I would buy it, not a fan of the tilted look of the rear, especially the lights.

Then again, I'm aware that it took a year or two for them to stop complaining about the rear of the 2010...
