Bumper support clips

Does anyone know what the black plastic supports are called under the headlight where the bumper clips into? Its the piece that holds the tabs that usually break on the front bumper.

I bought these for my 2016, but they may be the same on yours.

I modified them so they could be unbolted from the back side under the fender with the bumper cover still clipped into them. Hoping to avoid the common breakage problem.......

I know the mounting method changed on the 2018 models. Does anyone know if the mounting brackets from that modification can be retro-fitted into the 15-17 model years?
