Awesome video. Bravo. Having an awesome time with the clips for the original grille... They are a b*tch to get off. Do they remove in the same way as the clips from the center piece? Any tricks to them? TIA!

Thank you! A flat head screw driver, some elbow grease and patience are the trick.

I just did this 2 days ago too

I didnt find the tiny awkward bolt on each side under the splash shield where the bumper meets the fender that bad. I pulled one more push pin out (to the on at 12 o'clock) and with the wheels turned pulled the splash shield behind the wheel to tuck it away.

There was plenty of room for the box end of the crescent wrench. It's still not fast but much better than people say it is if you get enough room for your hand and the wrench by pulling the splash shield back and out of the way.

The passenger side was also much easier. You can reach down between the fuse box and frame from the top and feel/see the bolt even. The driver side one is hidden under a piece of metal.

Only thing I would do different next time is get a ratcheting box wrench (I think its 7mm) for that bolt so you dont have to keep taking it off and re-positioning it. That's what makes it so tedious. But it wasn't bad overall. I think the mistake people are making is not getting that plastic splash shield far enough out of the way to get their wrench/hand in there. I didnt find this bolt to be the hardest part at all.

I found the tabs holding the grill on to be the most frustrating part. They were very difficult to get off.

Great video. I'll be replacing the crappy lower grille we get down here in Aus with the proper OEM US one once my car arrives. This will make it a lot easier. Will also install my blackout pony logo and replace the side lights and fog lights with LEDs while the front is off. Should be easier to do while the front is of.
