If you get the 401A then you will get the top end sound system. Ford doesnt seperate audio upgrades.

Actually they changed it, on the new leaked 2018 order guide, 401A now gets Navigation instead of upgraded sound (shaker)

and Shaker Pro is now a stand alone option as code 583

Nope.....it was a '13 Boss 302 in the (computer generated image). It was also shown in a silver/grey, which the Boss was never available in.

I see this as a purely "passing the baton" kind of thing.......i.e. the new '18 GT is as capable as the '13 Boss 302

I meant the current 2017 GT/CS none on lots with ACC, so I would have had to order that one, so I am probably gonna be in same boat trying to get ACC on a Bullitt or Mach 1 etc, by ordering it instead of trying to find on a lot.

Yes, to get all the toys, I had to get a Factory Build. We found one that had ACC but no Nav, so when he got back to me that it will only cost me $400 for the ACC and the rain sensing wipers, which i still find a bizarre package. Don't know how I got it so cheap, should have been way more. Could not turn it down for $400

I still doubt that they'll offer the A10 in the Bullitt. But it's possible I guess.

Regarding the California Special for 2018, I wouldn't count it out just yet. I heard through the grapevine that Ford has ordered a limited run of 9,700 units of seats. I asked for more info and he just said it's supposed to be a more comfortable seat that has suede and adjustable leg supports. No sure about that last part but the suede sounds like a California Special to me. Not sure if that's 9,700 sets (for 9,700 cars total) or 9,700 seats (for a total of 4,850 cars).

The adjustable leg support is something I miss from my BMWs!

I'd be surprised to see something like that just for a California Special though as that car isn't performance orientated, at least no more than any other GT.

Yeah, I thought the leg support bit was an odd inclusion but we'll see. I hope it's not for a Bullitt since it's not correct from the movie, and I'm not a huge fan of suede seat inserts.

I could see it in a Mach 1 but they specifically said it's for 2018s and I'm not expecting the Mach 1 till 2019 model year. Production numbers sound too high for a high performance Mustang but I suppose it could be that too. :shrug:

Maybe this will be for the "Premium Plus" model? Could this also mean the "Premium Plus" is a new high end trim like Titanium or Platinum as seen on other Ford models?

That's exactly what I think too. Base, Premium, Premium Plus.
