lol, my car has now disappeared from COTUS. I have been trying for an hour and nothing pulls up. I text my salesman and asked him if my car had fallen off the train. His reply was "maybe"

funny. My EDD hasn't changed once on cotus. I wonder if my car is actually shipped yet or not.

On another note, my dealer is giving me the option to do my paperwork now...that way I lock in this months 0% finance, and $1000 Costco discount (in Canada). If I wait until next month, I would be eligible for April's offers, but no one knows what they are until next month. Thoughts?

I did my paperwork 2 weeks ago to lock in my 750.00 rebate. I would lock in the 0.00 and not risk it. I was able to get 1.65 apr by not financing with FMC though, my credit score is in the upper 700's

This, plus see if maybe you can write in "Dealer to repair all initial quality defects" just to be sure if it arrives with horrible panel gaps, dings, etc, they'll fix it without hesitation...if it's not in writing, it's not guaranteed.

They might not go for it, but worth a shot?

That's 2 from our build group now! Things a re definitely picking up for us now. Be no time at all til we all have them.

At this point I check COTUS twice a day, even though I don't know why. If it's shipped, it's out of Fords hands. Maybe it's the fact that it's just become a reflex, second nature of you will. Pick up phone > COTUS. Sit down at laptop > COTUS

Yeah its down to 12 times a day for me with COTUS , calling the rail company way more now, although it keeps telling me there is "no status available at this time" for the past 24 hours, I wonder if the railcar is in a ditch somewhere.

I wasn't going to get my rail number. It got out of hand checking cotus.

Paperwork is signed so I just need to do insurance and registration tomorrow morning then drive away! Finally!:ford:

Checked it again this evening and now it is pushed out until 4/2.

It is departing Kansas tonight around 10pm with an ETA of 4/1 now.

I did get pre-qualified today with my credit union after checking rates at other institutions. Now to let the finance guy compete to get me a better rate. I also printed out the pricing from Flood Ford, after verifying my dealer does not do loaners.

My car is in my possession finally! One thing I have noticed, your paint will need to be clay barred BAD. Even if the dealer waxes over it, do yourself a favor a clay your paint. Mine had a ton of rail dust and over spray on it.
One more thing. I knocked off a 5.0 0-60 with 32 miles on the odometer and a full tank of dealer furnished 87 octane, no brake torque either.
I have been battling the flu so I have yet to clean it up, pics coming soon.
