I'm with you guys. I would pay the destination charges just to pick the car up myself from the factory. It would be great to fly in, pick it up and use the drive home to break it in.

It is the Same story for me, my GT is just sitting there for almost a week now!Im not understanding their shipping process, they re just sitting on certain cars for days while I see other peoples cars are getting shipped left and right which were built after ours.
Well thats not true. I went in and paid for my car 10 days before EDD. the dealer told me once they have the VIN i can make the buy. So I did. the EDD has come and gone with a new EDD of 4/6. It sucks more waiting on a car at the factory that has already been paid for!It is the Same story for me, my GT is just sitting there for almost a week now!
I know they need to fill up the train car before it is worth it for a 'shipment, but seriously they can't can't fill a train car headed to California! Car capitol of the world. I did ask my dealer if I could pay to have my car trucked from the factory to my dealer. I was told they could not unless I owned the car. I said we have the VIN # I will pay for the car now. He said they can't sell the car until it is at the dealer! I feel like I am going in circles.

Maybe it a State law, I know California is a horrible state for business. I am dealing with the biggest Ford dealer in US. And I have bought many cars from them over the last 20+ years.Well thats not true. I went in and paid for my car 10 days before EDD. the dealer told me once they have the VIN i can make the buy. Agreed. COTUS is sticking to its guns that it'll be here in 16 days. About a week ago, COTUS took 2 days off my EDD. Was super happy until its sat without being shipped for over a week now.:doh:Mine is still in production according to Cotus, and the EDD of 3/28 has not moved. The dealer has said it is typically 8 days to OKC. With that in mind, I am beginning to wonder about the 3/28 EDD.
I know! Surely the guy who updates the info in COTUS accidentally forgot to mark all of ours as IN TRANSIT, and all of our cars are going to arrive at our dealerships today!:lol:EDD is 3/26 and it is still awaiting shipment. Hopefully since Atlanta is such a big train hub, it won't push past that date...
COTUS goes down from time to time and no one seems to be able to access it. I've seen that message a few times myself. Sorry to burst your bubbleOoo...now my COTUS says "No matching vehicle found. Please verify your input and try again"
Hopefully that means they are updating it
Yeah and I don't think there are people who actually go and update individual Mustangs in COTUS. Its probably tied to a separate system which gets updated automatically during various stages of production.COTUS goes down from time to time and no one seems to be able to access it.
