I didn't realize that the premium trims come with the Shaker audio system minus the Shaker subwoofer. I thought you had to get the 401a package for the upgraded audio.

Also my Mustang didn't come with any floor mats at all. Is this an option you must select when ordering?
The 400a has a 9 speaker system, 401a has 12 speakers. Two of the speakers in 401a are component speakers which they count as two separate speakers each and then sub makes 12.

Front floor mats are listed as standard equipment (at least on the Premium) so you should have gotten them.

Unfortunately, the problem is it's already been delivered. Also, the Shaker audio system comes with 9 and 12 speaker system. 400A is the 9 without the subwoofer. Don't know what the other two are, but the 401A has the subwoofer and an extra two speakers.

And floor mats are an extra I believe. Like $100 or something.

Edit: Ahhh, Oxford beat me. Good info on the floor mats too.

Thanks for the information guys. I just checked my window sticker and the front floor mats are standard, I'm thinking about getting some all weather mats anyways. Also I can't really tell the difference in audio quality between the 400a and 401a package.

Sean, have you asked the dealer to swap the seat belt components with another Mustang on the lot?

My dealer told me that Ford said they can not take existing parts off other cars to repair the recalled Mustangs. Dealers still do not even know exactly what parts to replace.

Yeah, my dealer said the same thing. They wanted to do it, but they have no idea what the hell even needs to be replaced. That's honestly the most surprising aspect of this shit show. The withholding of information isn't allowing dealers to find a solution to the problem. I would imagine it makes more sense to swap parts from a V6 or something in order to get a special order car sold off the lot. If there are less desired cars just sitting around, they can wait for the parts.

I didn't take it today, the passenger door and fender made contact and rubbed off paint so I left it for them to do the repair. I will be going back Saturday after work to pick it up. I signed all the paperwork and all I have to do is get the keys and go!

Same door as mine!!! Must have been a bad couple of shifts there our week.

Please go get a Camaro. I'm begging you. For the past two months you've done nothing but praise the Camaro and down the Mustang on everything. If you're so convinced please cancel your order, and go get one. Not to mention you haven't had the slightest positive attitude through this whole fiasco at all. /rant

Because there weren't any other issues and I spent a good deal of time looking over every inch of the interior, exterior, wheels, inside the trunk, and under the hood. The only other thing that I noticed is the rear glass that has the "normal" slightly lower driver side, not worth the trouble of trying to have it repaired. Not to mention the fact that I have 30 days to return it.

I have no doubt that the dealer will do the repair properly, I spoke to the Collision Center manager and he walked around the entire car and saw the fender making contact with the door and said it's an easy fix. He just has to move the fender slightly forward and the paint is very fixable because of how small the spot is and the location.
