You guys who no longer have a recall on their cars, was it sitting in a rail yard closer to the plant or closer to the dealer? It sounds like maybe this "team" inspected some cars and verified that yours were not affected by this issue.

I'm not sure mine every left the factory. It seemed to be on hold the day after it's blend date. I think mine was effected - it was on hold 3 weeks before its release to ship,

During the wait, my dealer's sales manager claims to have put a 'rush' on the car - but I'm not sure if there is such a thing at that point.

With an ETA of 11/6 to the dealer, I'll be just two weeks short of 5 months from the order date.

I have been told that dealers can put a rush or prioritize shipping after it has been released by Ford. If there is a hold, there is nothing anyone can do until Ford releases it.

Mine was held at the factory for a few weeks before it was released for shipping.

Mine was held at the factory, released, then sent back to the factory where it dat for a week. Rereleased. And was then stopped again 5 miles from the dealer and my house. And it still has a recall on it according to etis.

Just for reference....

My car was held with the rest of yall for several weeks but was finally delivered 10/19. I checked ETIS regularly between early September and mid October and never saw a recall listed. I checked again 2 days ago and ETIS listed a recall. Checked again today....recall does not show up.

Went to the dealer today to have them refund me my down payment and cancel the order. After about 5 minutes a flat bed drove up, with my car on it. I couldn't believe it. Finally got it home!!

Hey Everyone, cancelled my order for my Magnetic V6 051A, picking up a Black EcoBoost Premium on Monday. It's nice to be out of recall hell. To those of you still waiting I hope the agony ends soon.

My Dealer did tell me that Ford was telling them the recall cars may not be in customer hands until almost January, hope that's not the case.

I'm not sure if it's because it was the last day of the month or not, but I got $2500 cash back on my EcoBoost today, plus a $1500 Loyalty Certificate I had.

I was told that not all the ones that have a recall on them are actual recalls. Most are an inspection to see if the recall needs to be done. My dealer didn't even know the car was going to arrive yesterday. The status still shows in transit... lol

I checked ETIS and my VIN still shows recall. Wonderfull.

I did get a message from Ford Performance on Facebook. They told me that if your car is sitting in the railyard closer to the plant, it will go back to the plant to get fixed. If it's closer to the final dealer destination, then the dealer will fix it.

Where does etis show the recall?
Mine was built Oct 2 and seems to have totally disappeared and when it may turn up, it has 26 days at sea to get here.
Also goes near the Bermuda Triangle which fills me with even more ford induced consumer confidence

I just got off the phone with the car hauling company. He said that the "Hold" has been released on my car and it's being delivered to the dealer today!!! I'm not going to hold my breath though. If it is true, it will have taken exactly 8 weeks from order to delivery.

That's great news! My original order still shows up in ETIS as part of the recall.
