Had a great email at lunch from our dealer - "It has arrived!" along with a picture of one of the inventory stickers. We called them up and they said "Give us until 5 p.m. and pick it up!" :cheers: When we got to the dealer, it was parked right outside the front door. It looked fantastic. Several other customers were already asking if they could purchase it. Both groups had been looking for a convertible. LOL.
Even better news when we started the paperwork. Not only did we get the $500 rebate, we got the $750 private cash rebate (Thanks again BBB).
We just spent the evening driving around the area. All I can say is this car is one fantastic machine. Some of the best $$ we have ever spent. A big step up from the 1986 5.0 we had. It is funny hearing the turbo wind up during acceleration. Once we get it broken in, we'll see what it can really do.
BTW, I have to give a shout out to our dealer. They have been great to work with. When they found out it may be in Jackson another week while additional cars were gathered for our area, they made arrangements for it to be part of a load going to New Orleans this week and then made arrangements for a second truck to get it here. Easily the best dealer we have ever worked with.
OK the rest of you, get those cars in your hands ASAP!

Congrats Trailhiker!!! Enjoy cruising with the top down!!! Still waiting on mine. I have a supposed build date of 5-29. Feels like forever! lol :shrug:
