If I understood the automated phone tracking system, my car was "constructively placed" (not sure exactly what that means) at the rail yard in Markham IL (Chicago) at 5:12am today. I believe that's where it gets loaded on a truck to make it's way into WI. Getting closer!!!

After a couple of days sitting in Jackson Miss, the rail car status changed from "Constructively Placed" to "Placed at Customer Location" early this morning. I had assumed that when it was "Constructively Placed" a couple days back that it was just being lined up for another train to bring it the rest of the way to New Orleans (closest major city near us). Based on some posts in other forums, it now appears that the car may be offloaded in Jackson and carried by truck the rest of the way to our dealer. :shrug: That is a three hour trip. We'll see. Good news is that the Dealer delivery has been moved up to Monday May 25. (Was May 26th before.)

Assuming that they offload it by next Monday, you would think it would get to the dealer before the Labor Day weekend. We can only hope!

Hope all of you that are still waiting gets yours soon. I picked mine up yesterday. It was a 9 week wait but as I was driving it home yesterday I have to say it was all worth it. Everything was perfect! The only thing was I paid extra for the aw floor mats and didn't get them but that is being fixed. Hoping to post pictures soon.

Well, my theory of the car being offloaded in Jackson Miss and trucked the rest of the way to Southern Louisiana seems to be correct. The rail car status went to "Empty, Placed in Storage". COTUS does not come up at the moment so I cant see if the EDD has been pulled in further.
