Build date 11/30

So my build date is 11/30 how do I track it now besides the dealer?

Is Deysha the only way to find out? I hate to bother her.

Check with your dealer. I got a call today from the dealership I ordered/purchased from and was informed the car is in production. They seemed to think there was a good chance the vehicle would be delivered within 3 weeks, but I am skeptical based on reading previous forum posts. I am thinking 01/21/16 for a car ordered 10/27/15.

Looking into COTUS and ETIS did not show any consistency in terms of data. I would think a vin with an associated window sticker should translate over to ETIS, but this is not the case. I had read a vin number meant the base chassis work was completed, but also read the contrary. I share your frustration on trying to figure out anything more definitive. I believe both cars are just GTs with the performance package.

Your dealer may also check on it for you, Schmidtygt. It should be released from the plant this week.

COTUS is a tracking site that is still in a pilot phase and has not been rolled out for all regions or vehicle nameplates, Redline_71. It hasn’t worked for any 2016s. The VIN only means the vehicle will schedule to build.

I know the vehicle I ordered is in production, but not sure how long it will take with the 5560 blend number for 11/30 cycle. Thanks for your reply.

I just talked with my dealer and he said he changed my priority code from 19 to 10...I didn't think they could change anything once it started? If they can...what did that change do for me?? Seems like it has the same delivery date.

I had read that higher volume dealers might be able to get earlier allocation, but not sure.

You’re welcome, Schmidtygt! Orders are scheduled based on the following criteria:
- the priority code rating
- the dealer's allocation for each production week
- the ordered option content
- the receipt date
The receipt date is a factor when breaking ties for orders with the same priority code. Therefore, the date is the last factor. I hope this helps.

You now have a very special Mustang built on my birthday, Jason! LOL! It finished production yesterday, but it has not been released from the plant yet. It has an ETA of 12/25/15 to your dealer still, which is subject to change. Also, unless we have been looking at the wrong order (1FA6P8CF6G5253377), this one has had a priority 11 for a while now. Keep checking with me. Have a nice day!
