Brochure coupon questions

It's been a few years since I bought a new Mustang and don't remember some details about the coupons that come with some brochures or via email.

I am going to order a 2016 GT and am waiting to get some brochures in the hopes of getting a coupon. I had no trouble getting one the last time I bought a Mustang and I know people are still getting them.

Questions:

What is the coupon expiration period? I seem to recall 60 days or similar.

Can you use a coupon for an order even though the car won't arrive until it expires?

Can you lock in a coupon to an order you previously placed?

Can you use the coupon with an A plan?

I PMed Deysha a few weeks ago about this but never got any answer.

My apologies as I have no PMs from you in my inbox. However, from all of the info I’ve gathered, all dealerships have the option to lock in incentives. But, not all incentives are able to be protected. However, they all have the last say on incentives at the time of sale (unless expired).

Also, remember these are regional incentives and not guaranteed to be in every brochure. Available incentives for your area (by ZIP) can also be found here. You can verify eligibility with your selling dealer as all offers are subject to change. Your dealer can check any incentive that applies to you at the time of the sale in their system.

If you have any questions, you may contact our Marketing Headquarters at 1-800-334-4375. Also, don’t forget to PM me with your dealer’s name and order number so I can track it.

With an A-Plan deal, there are only two e-Coupon direct offers that I see that are eligible in combination with the regular rebate. Program #'s 35368 and 35204. You can find the program # in the fine print of the coupon and you can only use one of the e-Coupons. Both are $500, and there's a $500 factory rebate (up here in the NW, at least), so that would be $1,000 total.

You can not use a coupon that you got after your ordered the car if it expires before you take delivery. However, if you had a valid coupon on the date of order - or the date of delivery - you're golden. Ford still offers Incentive Protection allowing you to choose between offers available at the time of order or time of delivery - whichever you prefer. It doesn't protect offers that come & go while waiting for your order to arrive.

Could you tell us what the two programs are (Program #'s 35368 and 35204)? I have the good fortune of an A Plan as well from a great friend through Ford's current conquest PIN program and am looking to see if there are any other rebates besides the current $500 from Ford. I too had a $750 coupon but that expired a few month ago. The ones I have always expired quickly and I never got the timing right. Anyways, any info is always greatly appreciated.
