I hope the WD-40 suggestion was a joke. You don't want that on your brake caliper, rotor, and pads.
Try maybe vinegar?

You don't spray it on. You apply it to a cloth rag and wipe it on then wipe it off. I hope someone knows better then to spray it on.

WD-40 is mostly solvent. Solvents will gradually degrade the paint and make it worse. A vinegar solution left on there for a little bit and then rinsed off might help.

To the OP: if it bothers you that much, nothing is really going to help for long unless you get some sort of barrier on the paint that dust and slime won't stick to. Wax/sealant is normally good, but the heat generated by the caliper will make short work of that. If it was my car, I'd probably just take the calipers off, give them a good polish and then follow up with a couple of coats of high heat clear coat. That will be easier to maintain over time.

Best,

that looks like something caustic has gotten on the calipers. Looks like you may be able to "mask" the already etched surface with something, but the finish itself looks damaged. It could be just the pic on my computer screen but that's what it looks like.

Powdercoat them and use only mild soap and water for cleaning.
