On vacation this week and my buddy wanted to go watch shopping but I'm the one who ended up buying something.

Been eyeing this Tudor Panda since release and cannot count the number of ADs I've been to trying to find one. The Mayors in Tampa had gotten one in 2 days prior and I had to pick it up.

Also giving some time to my GS diver in its somewhat intended environment.

It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery but in the case of watches, it’s often to turn a buck. Below is a picture of two watches I have. Neither are a real Submariner. I bought the Invicta a while back as a way of getting my feet wet in watches and because I like it. The other came to me through a family member that passed. I did get giddy for a hot second until I decided to do a few minutes of research and found it to be fake. I kind of suspected it wasn’t real anyway. Thought you guys might be interested to see this.

After 9 years, I'm going to finally see about getting this serviced. Seems to lose about 1s/hr.

Maybe trade for a Super Avenger...that's what I REALLY wanted to begin with.

There is a big difference between these two watches. The Invicta is a homage. It doesn’t try to be a Rolex, just looks like one. Every brand make a watch that looks like another brands watch. Hell, even the Submariner is a homage. That other piece of crap is a forgery and should be tossed in the garbage.

I hade a fake just like that way back in high school. I wore it surfing and it filled up with water. It also turned my wrist green.

Thanks! I was going to buy a Sea Wolf but when I saw the black/black Heritage 46, I knew I had to have it. Goes well with anything I wear, understated like you said!
