Picked up an IWC Pilot's Chrono Le Petit Prince. I've been eyeing it ever since they debuted it in 2016. I'm excited about it and pretty fortunate to be able to afford toys like this before 30.

Anyone purchased a high end watch from Costco? If so, how was the experience and how does the warranty, work through them?

What do you guys think of Christopher Ward?

I recently found out about them, and just saw the C60#tide. This watch is absolutely beautiful. I really like the trident on the secondhand. I like how it uses the blue wave design of the Omega but improves on the design a bit.

I also really appreciate the extra effort that the company is doing with this watch with sustainability and donating to Blue Marine Foundation. I worked in a Marine biology lab through most of my college and did a special project involving the ocean so I really like to see companies addressing issues with the ocean. Its for a good cause and I want a watch that I can actually wear in the ocean (my BB58 has the fabric strap which I am sure will get ruined if it gets wet), so its all around win win situation.

I am going to buy this in a few months. Just need to pay off my car first 😅 Promised myself to stop making anymore big purchases until my payments are gone. The good thing is that its ~$1k so it is way cheaper than the other watches I want. It really wont break the bank. I think it will be a nice addition to my collection :)

Christopher Ward is an exceptional boutique brand. I looked at them very closely before deciding to go with Steinhart.

I’m hoping to make it to BaselWorld one of these days. My wife’s family is from a nearby town so it would be convenient during a family event…. It just happens too early in the year to work with kid schedules.

Okay, I know I said I was going to wait to get this but I couldn't do it 😅 The watch is actually alot nicer than I thought it was going to be. Really glad I found this piece, it will be a nice addition to my collection :)

I didn't say this but another reason why I wanted it was because I am an EMT and I had a really disgusting situation that happened last week and it made me realize that I probably shouldn't wear my BB58 to work. 🤣 So this is a win win situation for me because I do really like this watch, there is a distinct change in color when the light hits it.

One thing I do notice that seems 'cheap' or they cost cut is the feel of the dive bezel. When you turn it, it feels a bit rough and not as smooth as the BB58. Not sure if thats normal for other high end dive watches feel or if the BB58 is just silky smooth. It doesn't bother me, but its just an observation. I really do feel like this watch punches way above its weight class.
