Okay, I know I said I was going to wait to get this but I couldn't do it 😅 The watch is actually alot nicer than I thought it was going to be. Really glad I found this piece, it will be a nice addition to my collection :)

I didn't say this but another reason why I wanted it was because I am an EMT and I had a really disgusting situation that happened last week and it made me realize that I probably shouldn't wear my BB58 to work. 🤣 So this is a win win situation for me because I do really like this watch, there is a distinct change in color when the light hits it.

One thing I do notice that seems 'cheap' or they cost cut is the feel of the dive bezel. When you turn it, it feels a bit rough and not as smooth as the BB58. Not sure if thats normal for other high end dive watches feel or if the BB58 is just silky smooth. It doesn't bother me, but its just an observation. I really do feel like this watch punches way above its weight class.

Congrats. That is one awesome looking watch. Love the dial. The fact that you are comparing the bezel to your BB58 really says it all.

The Time Teller Likes Christopher Ward:

"Federico Talks Watches" not a fan, too many logo changes, easy to get disounts from them, probably won't hold it's value.

Personally I like them a lot, I will eventually have one.

Prices on Chris Ward will be going up in April, sign up for their newsletter and you get $125 off of any watch they offer.

So next thing I am going to be getting is a watch box, I got the watch roll months ago but I realized thats really more for travel and not home storage.

I don't mind spending a decent amount of money on one if its really fancy and if I really like it. I am having some trouble finding what I like and hoping you guys could help me.

I want to get a blue watch box with blue watch rolls. I found one that I like ALOT but I see some redflags and it might be a scam. I was searching today and found a Company called Brykla, they claim that they make watch boxes using materials from exotic sports cars. This is really cool because the box is made from carbon fiber, and the rolls are alcantara. The best part is that you can decide what colors to use.

My only problem is that it says that these are available for pre-order, and there's no pricing. To make matters worse, when I looked at their Facebook page and Instagram, the posts are from like 2 years ago and there's no activity, so Im not sure what the deal is.

Have you guys ever heard of them or know of any companies that make watchboxes like this?

Here is a picture from their website with the setup I want:

Definitely pass on Brykla as they have no media presence at all and that is very strange.

But I do have a solution for you. Heard about these folks years ago. Way out of my league but I think they might be just right for you. Good luck!

I've seen photos of the blue one resulting in some color transfer to a guy's skin and coming up with a q-tip dipped in something. Haven't done much research myself, so dig in a little bit before you buy. I think they look great!

Definitely something to keep an eye on but I’m sure Swatch will address this before the next release.

Yes I have heard about these. I told my friend to look into getting one because my recent watch endeavor is rubbing off on him. He thinks Im a watch "expert" now :giggle:

I told him that these watches are a good entry point if you are new and just want something thats cool and classy. I told my other friend about these watches and I told him I'd be willing to get one as a graduation present for him :)

I have heard the same thing and it seems like its only specific to the blue 'Neptune' watch, which is the one I want 😩

There has been a crazy amount of buzz about these watches and I hope it helps Omega out

Rest assured that this issue will be resolved when the next release is planned later in the year. I'm thinking about the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, & Neptune.

I flew to Vegas last Friday to try to get one lol. I had points and took my wife for a quick weekend trip.

Ended up not getting one :/

I was hoping the line would be inside the casino since the store is part of NY NY but I didn't realize that the store had access from the strip itself. They had people line up outside. My buddy and I checked the line when we got there at 6pm and it was 20 people. Checked after dinner at 11:45PM and it was like 150 and at that point we didn't know how many watches they'd have available so we decided to go gamble and check later.

2:30AM there were like 300+ people so we gave up.

9AM easily 500 people.

Saturday I asked the store how many they actually had and I they said 270.

It was a fun trip still though!

Great story but sorry you didn’t get one. Had I still lived up North I probably would have gone to their store in King of Prussia, PA. But down here I’ll have to wait until they go on sale online. Which ones are you looking at?

I want a Mercury still. The Earth one looks super cool in person and I'd love to have one just to have it in my collection but I don't think I'd wear that color much.
