Brakes are letting out a high pitched squeal. Car sounds like a school bus coming to a stop.

I have new power stop pads to go on to try reducing brake dust.

So with only 1800 miles on the car do i take it in to have the dealer look at it under warrenty? Or change out the pads and hope it fixes it. I dont wanna swap them then take it in and have them try blaming me for it from the pad change.

Brembos? If so they squeal, change out pads to power stops and it’ll go away. Did for me

Well as dirt simple as it is to swap pads, give it a shot. 1800 miles, what is that benchmark?

It's a 2021 and that mileage sounds low even for grandma as an owner. What is missing from the post?

And hard to imagine all 4 corners are complaining, see any scoring on any of the rotors?

I've got the same damn problem. You feel all flash until you come to a stop and then you scrunch down like you wanna put the flashing red lights and stop sign out.

Lemme know how that Power Stops thing works. I may do same same.

Ill change out pads and hope it quits. Have all the tools just been busy.

Low miles, not drove in winter and its not a daily. Didnt get it till August last year. Swapping to all season tires to get more drive time.

Recommend you get some dedicated winters if you are going to drive it in the winter. I did mine last year with Nokian Hakkapallita's on my factory rims as I knew I had my Tidents and Nittos coming this year. Made the care drivable if careful.

I actually had a rock or something go into one of my front wheels (believe it was right side) a few weeks ago and I was able to get that out after doing some reverse maneuvers. Shortly after I had heard some squealing as well from my car. On my way home from work I have a nearly 20 mile stretch of 65mph limited roadway. I did 3 or 4 quick stops from 70-20 and then the next few times I went to actually brake to a stop I had no more squealing and still have no recurring squealing since.

I'd recommend doing that first just to try it. I try to actually engine brake more than use my brakes anyway to maximize the life on them and was told by a co-worker(tech) that was probably why I developed the squeal and just recommended the braking procedure i mentioned above to alleviate it. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you need to go for a spirited drive with some good moderate braking here and there to re-bed the pads. After doing a good visual inspection to check for any obvious problems, of course.

Was thinking about how new pads have a break in procedure but nothing is ever said when buying a car new?

I have a truck for bad weather and only work about 5 miles from home. My main issue with the summer tires is them not handling the cold temps.
Decided on Pilot Sport A/S 4

Only my 6 piston fronts squealed. Not sure if both sides did but the front def squealed for a second right as I applied brakes then went away as I pushed harder

That's what mine do. If I am light on the brakes they squeak but the harder I press it starts to go away.

Change out the pads. I went with the Powerstop z26. So far so good. No more squeal and wwwwwwaaaaaaayyyyyy less brake dust!!! More aggressive braking as well. The initial bite is miles above the stock pads.
