I have a 21 Mach 1 NON HP that has 1200 miles on it and a 19 GT PP1 with 10,000 miles.
I am under the assumption that the front brakes are the same.
What I am seeing though is that the Mach 1 appears to accumulate a lot more disc pad dust on the wheels and calipers.
I researched on Levitown Ford Parts and it appears they might use the same brake pad.
Does anyone know if the pads are the same?
If they are different I think I would switch the Mach 1 to the PP1 pads.
Both cars feel like they brake the same to me.

everything is identical. Switch your pads out on both cars and the voluminous dust will be no longer an issue. The stock Ferodo pads are 'light duty' track pads and crazy overdone for street driving.

Yea, I figured they were identical, just wanted to make sure.
Any suggestions for a good street pad?

a LOT of people go with PowerStop Z23 or Z26. They don't have quite the 'hit' on initial application but snapping my/passenger neck on every slowdown strikes me as unnecessary. I've been more than satisfied with the Z. Just brake the pads in as instructed and they'll deliver the goods.

Yea, I was just looking through my notes and I had Powerstop Z26 marked down.
1792 for the front and 1793 for the rear.
Thanks.

I've used EBC red on my first gen mustang and thought they were good also.
