Brake Disc Caliper Covers

Has anyone install Brake Disc Caliper Covers available for the mustang. Please post pictures.

I am sorry to be the one to tell you this but caliper covers are a no no. Like a 5 inch pipe on a honda or huge rear tires on front drive car etc.

They'll look a million times better painted anyway, and probably cheaper too.

Caliper covers started in 2006 in the Corvette world...with the new Z06 going to red 6 piston Brembos....lesser brake owners (standard C 5 and C6 Corvettes owned by bald guys in their late 50s) started buying "caliper covers" in the image of those 6 piston Brembos to "look cool".

DO NOT be one of those guys.

I ordered a pair in comp orange . I wasn't going to waste my time painting them and it not matching perfectly . So if it helps cut down brake dust and matches perfectly I don't think their ricey. Mine will just say mustang nothing fancy or gay

Hey- give them a shot!

Those appear better then the huge "fake" 6 piston Brembo covers that folks put over much smaller 4 piston calipers. These seem to just match the caliper in terms of proper sizing.

Dude, Plastidip is rubber in a can, right? And rubber is sticky, right? So Plastidipped rotors and brake pads must grab a LOT better than just pads on steel, right?

No he just got lazy and did not want to tape off the rotors , besides taking the calipers off to paint em .

Started a lot earlier than that; I saw them on '90's Civics years ago.
