Welp..this has derailed a bit. Although that is kind of cringey to pass it off like that. Anyone have any recommendations or tips or pictures for the front brake calipers since they're a bit smaller?

Maybe GT sticker on the front brakes and running pony on the back ones?

And btw, are these stickers/decals heat resistant, or do normal stickers do fine?
Back caliper is so small....it doesn't really lend itself to a sticker.

I know not many people are going to know.

Also they are good brakes they are also better than the old Brembos that they made for the SN95 Mustang.

Also similar to the older GT500 had 4 Piston Calipers before the 13 GT500.

I agree, they are fantastic brakes and I have them myself, but they are still not made by Brembo. You said it yourself, not many people are going to know, so why say they are Brembos? Are you trying to impress yourself? I am honestly trying to figure out why people do this, it has always fascinated me.

So you know how there's a small dip in the front caliper? I marked it in the picture. Should I try to keep the sticker to the left of that so it's all level? Or will it not matter?

At the risk of being a "sticker nerd" here, if possible, look for stickers made with Oracal 751 vinyl as opposed to 651.

Oracal 751 is rated to withstand temperatures up to 230 degrees Fahrenheit. Oracal 651 is resistant to 176 degrees.

I see alot of the ebay sellers are using the cheaper 651. I'm no braking temp expert, but seems to me that 176 degrees is a bit low for brake calipers. To be honest, 230 degrees seems low as well, for any type of continuous aggressive braking. Has anyone in this thread who has gone sticker route, seen any issues with heat/etc?

I'm thinking a temp-safe clearcoat would be needed or the vinyl will shrink/curl/peel over time. Then I would be worried about enamel affecting the vinyl, so light coats first, then put a good coat on top? I bet it would help with brake dust gathering at the vinyl edges as well.

I'm thinking of doing this on my car (no, not R red) so this thread caught my eye. :) I will probably just use the stickers as a stencil, and use two paint colors.

I painted mine black with G2, and added a Stoptech sticker to mirror my rotors and pads.

Love the StopTech decal. I just bought rotors and pads for mine. I'm repainting my calipers and just bought a set of these. Thanks for the tip Chef jpd!
