Unfortunately it will be Friday or Monday til my financial guy wires the money to my account so I can pay for it, so this is going to be a LONG week....

I was really on the fence about the new Mustang - until I saw it in person. It was love at first sight...my color choices were Ruby Red or DIB - until I saw the black in person. I wasn't even considering black, but once I saw it there was no question what I wanted.

I was perfectly happy with my v6, and if they offered the nice interior on the v6, that's what I would've went with. But for what the GT cost I couldn't really pass it up. So it wasn't like I was adverse to the EB, I think theyre great machines. Plus, after years of v6 Camaro/Mustang/Challenger ownership, a fringe benefit is I don't have to respond to guys who drive Rav 4s on why I didn't get the v8.

First dealer I stopped at offered me $10,100 for my 2013 v6 (base) manual, and no X plan. Second dealer gave me 14,200, plus $500 rebate, plus X plan. I bought both of my FJs at the first dealer, and he had the nerve to say to me "Let me know what I can do for you, we like to take care of our returning customers"....Ummnn, give me more money and accept X plan, that's what you can do for me. Why are most of these guys scumballs?

I guess a week aint so bad considering how long some of you guys and girls waited for your orders, so Ill quit my complaining now!

You can always go purchase the car and finance it and when your"financial guy" wires you the money, just cut a check and pay it off. It wont cost you any extra, maybe a couple bucks in interest but you will get your car asap and solidify the deal you made on the x plan and trade before they change their minds.

^^THIS^^

It's not like closing on a house where you lose all kinds of fees and such.

A couple bucks of interest at the most!

Congrats on your new car! I wonder if he thought the sale was a shoo-in based on your repeat business and the car being a hot item. Looks like you found someone better for future shopping. ;)
