The S Type is perfect to me. Almost stock-like silence at highway/cruise RPMs, but ohhh is the noise there when your foot gets heavy! Idle rumble is great also.
There must be something wrong with mine, because it is anything but quiet at highway speeds. ANY throttle input while cruising on the highway creates quite a bit of volume. It borders on obnoxious to me, honestly.

I really like the sound and tone of it, but the volume around the 2K RPM level is ridiculous. If it's really that quiet for other people, then I need to look into it, because it's at the point where I'm actually starting to consider changing it out. :(

Question for those of you that have the Boral S-type...how's it sound at WOT? Is it deep or is it raspy? I ask because I had the Ford Racing Touring and it sounded good at idle and part throttle, but way too raspy at WOT. Didn't like the WOT sound at all...very weird sound (to me ofcourse).

Looking for something with a nice deep tone, and nice WOT with little rasp.

Thanks for any info!

I have the Borla 40842s https://m.summitracing.com/parts/bor-40842s. This setup is deep tone and isn't raspy. I installed this exhaust with x pipe and resonator delete. I will try to post a video. There is some drone in 6th between 1750-2000 rpm, but not bad. You can definitely hear it inside and out.

Oh my! And I was all set to order Roush...

I see Borla says these are black chrome. I would really like to see some real world pics of these.

Not yet that we know of, that's something I'll have to find out from them.

Yeah I'm not sure man, I absolutely love the sound of it. I've been on several 100+ mile cruises and can't get enough of it.
