688whp/563wtq @ 10.3psi on 93oct.. This 3.2 is a beast!Any updates or dyno #'s...Thanks
HOLY SMOKES!688whp/563wtq @ 10.3psi on 93oct.. This 3.2 is a beast!
One of the efficiency and power consumption advantages, along with our cam tuning methods allows us to make lots of area under the curve, and a big peak TQ number. That's exactly what these heavy cars need to get moving. That's one of the big advantages of the larger 3.2 and 3.6L Kenne Bell head units.HOLY SMOKES!
That is beast mode. That is what I LOVE about the KB superchargers,........the torque doesn't drop out as much. Isn't running that much HP/TQ a bit scary on a stock block and internals/bottom end? I'm just curious. I know that some of the internals of the new 5.0 are hardened/forged, but that is a stupid amount of power and torque. (By "stupid", I mean, I LOVE IT! lol)
Just asking questions to know more to what route I go after I pay the '13 Roush Stage 3 off next year.
Great job guys.
That's dynamite Travis. I appreciate that. One of the efficiency and power consumption advantages, along with our cam tuning methods allows us to make lots of area under the curve, and a big peak TQ number. We've run a 3.6L on our stock car now for nearly 9 months. We flog it constantly. Since day 1, it's logged nearly 5k very hard miles. We've spent a lot of time getting it perfect, and we offer warranties to back that up.
The Boss rods have been proven to well over 800rwhp, and this engine has those exact same pieces. The pistons are cast, but durability has not proven to be an issue.. Even in the face of the tuning "learning curve", I haven't seen a failure to date.
Everything else is good for 1000hp. So, outside of clutch, and eventually half shafts.. You're fine at that power level with a solid tune.![]()

Thanks again for your business, Pat!Anxiously awaiting shipping info on my BoostWorks/ Kenne Bell 800's setup. Once it arrives I'll start a new thread on install.
