Please put me on pre order list. This will be the best bar on the market. Placing bets on how long it will take for the competition to copy. BMR leads the rest follow.

I'm sure it will be of the best quality but wouldn't a 38mm front bar cause gut-wrenching understeer if it's the same wall thickness as the 35mm.

Thing is, I'm seeing a ton of folks running the 35mm on the stiffest setting. 38mm may allow folks to keep it the middle and allow one additional bump in stiffness if you desire it.

PS when is it coming out?

We are still testing it.

This new bar is a completely new design, not just a replica of the OE bar but thicker. There are quite a few benefits to this new design, that I will share once we are closer to releasing it ;)

And yes, it's a beast.

We have many racers who want a bigger bar....and we have also found the need for more bar rate on our development car.

what size is their current front bar?
I am running the thickest bar on the market at moment. Hotchkiss 36.5mm But I am also installing coil overs and am concerned strut will rub. I have the BMR end links (quality pieces I might add) which have grease fittings on them which should make things tighter/closer to strut. Again Kelly put me on pre order list. Can you give us a good ballpark release date?

Is a matching rear sway on the works too?

The aftermarket bars for the rear are more than sufficient. You don't want to big of bar in rear. At least I do not.

Nope.

We have found that, the current rear bars...with bigger (than what is available) front bars, are the way to go.

The bigger the bar the softer the spring, which leads to a better handling car.

Also if you are going for ultimate handling you have goal for your FLLD and RLLD based on the weight of your car, and its weight bias. It can get very involved but to put it quickly you need to accomplish .....

% of Front wheel rate + 3% for tight autox course
+ 4 % for open autox course
+ 5% for most road course layouts
+ 6 % for most open/fast road course layouts

So for example lets say my total car weight is 3850 and 53% is on the front wheels. Which balances out to be around 2040 on the front wheels. My FLLD would then be.(example bar rate is 500lb..then my spring would need to be...
+3 % =2100/2=1050 Bar = 500 Spring would need to be 550
+4%=2120/2=1060 560
+5%=2150/2=1075 575
+6%=2165/2=1082 600

So its much easier to have a big adjustable bar with good rates to do tuning vs switching springs all the time, and cars handle better with lighter springs.
