Blue Oval Performance in Vancouver, Wa.

Hey Guys,

I am located in Bend and I'm looking to have some work done on my car along with some dyno tuning. Two shops have shown up in my search. One is the mustang shop in the Seattle area and the other is Blue Oval in Vancouver, Wa. Obviously Blue Oval is closer to me, but I want to make sure I get the right shop as I don't want to have to go back over the hill to have problems fixed. I have reservations about both shops. When I called Blue Oval about doing my header install, he wanted a week to do them and then a week for tuning. Obviously that is way longer than it should take but I have heard nothing but great things about him.

The mustang shop said they could do the install and tune in one day. That concerns me because I know the header install is a day long project for a tech by itself. I don't want a quick tune. I want to make sure it is done right.

Have any of you had work done on your 6th gens by either of these shops and if so how was your experience?

I have been debating a similar debate for some Mods we want to do for our 2016 we have on order. All I will say at this point is this. The Online reviews are making me want to go nowhere near the Mustang shop in Kent. While Blue Oval has very limited reviews.

Having personally not used either, I have no opinion of any value. I will watch your thread though for my struggle!

I have a customer that has had Blue Oval do quite a bit of work on his Mustang and he speaks very highly of Chun there. I'm just confused why it would take two weeks to install a set of headers and tune it. Again, I respect taking your time to make sure it is done right, but that seams a little excessive. I have talked with other shops in the Portland area that tune, but none of them specialize in just mustangs. Maybe I need to look past that and see what they can do.

I will second Brads custom auto. I work with them on a regular basis and they are awesome.
