Hello, I recently bought some pp1 wheels but today I just noticed some peeling and I’m not sure if I should peel it off and if so with what?

Not sure how much money you want to invest, but sandblasting and recoating is possibly one of the better options if you want to keep the wheels for very long. It looks like someone applied substandard paint, and/or didn't prep the wheels before painting.

That center cap is also peeling/fading and I doubt it was painted at the same time and place as the wheels. What the heck happened, did you somehow get a chemical spill on the wheel?

Not sure what happened, I just got them a few days ago and I just noticed. Some of it peels off if I try. Could it be plasti dip or something of that sort?

I would try the lightest polishing compound you can find at a parts store and try in a spot that isn't too obvious. Put it on and wipe it like wax. Even those splined Gorilla lug nuts look really faded and odd, and I tell you they are GLOSS black when you get them new (I just got a set).

Try a very small part with light compound...

This wheel looks like it was refinished, possibly using one of those mobile services that travels from dealer to dealer. They just spray without much prep at all, leaving the tires on and all.

That wheel appears to have been poorly refinished.

Cheaper and better to buy new ones than refinish. They are powder coated from the factory. Therefore making repairs look really crappy unless re-coated.
