Black PP with 40% tint

Hey guys i have spent the last 45 mins trying to find someone with a black s550 with 40% tint all around!! Im debating on going legal(40%) are taking the chance so if people with preferably black PP with 40% and even better one with the 3m tint that would be awesome!! thanks guys :cheers:

+1 for this as well. I want to go a bit lighter on this car. it almost seems like the glass is lightly tinted from the factory, but I could be wrong.

I'm gonna get 35% all around when the dealership finally gets my rear glass in. Have one of the cars where the rear glass slopes. Wish I could go darker but that's the limit here in nc

Are you asking for someone to post a picture, or something else, as your post is not exactly clear.

FYI - 40% tint is illegal in many states.

Definitely, in terms of heat reduction (my main priority) certain ceramic tints like 3M's Crystalline actually have a higher heat reduction rating compared to regular non ceramic and metallic films.

For example 3M's basic FX film 30% has a 38% solar rejection rate
Their Crystalline line 40% has a 60% solar rejection rate. 90% tint has a 34%

I just got mine tinted today... 15% all windows. Looks great and you can still see in a little bit. I pay my buddy an extra $10 or so when he does the state inspections every year so I can pass. I'm not worried about the cops... Now I had 5% on all windows on my black Raptor... Got pulled over the same day it got tinted. Lol

40% all around, the windshield has 5% and comes down to 4.75 inches. My state law is 5 inches. this is the 3m crystalline. total cost $302.08

FYI 40% I.e. 35% is the same thing, the manufacturer already tints the windows slightly, reason we get 40% to bring it down to 35%.

27 is legal limit in SC, but 15 it is! if i lived in a state where it was 40+ i probably seriously wouldn't bother with tint at all unless your car isn't in a garage but to each his own.

My buddy is a service manager at Ford. He's been taking care of me for years.. Back when I owned a fully built 2003 Ford Lightning with full exhaust and no cats. No CEL on, good to go! Lol

exactly what I wanted to get. 3m crystalline. I'm really only looking for uv/heat protection.
