Correct. A ceramic coat isn't going to protect from impacts the same way a paint protection film (PPF) will, but it will still be much more durable than the natural clear-coat on the paint. At some point I'll either attempt to or pay to at least have part of my car done in PPF but the issue with the matte black stripes is they'd have to be separately covered in strips of matte PPF, such as Xpel Stealth. This makes an already expensive job even more expensive.

Very nice. You have to be feeling the winter blues. I got mine out last week. This week after a few inches of snow the roads are so white with salt it's ridiculous. Not to mention temps in the single digits doesn't help.another shot of my shadow black R.
