Neither. They are matte black which isn't quite as dull as flat black.
Thanks, I did the plastidip to kinda test it out being flat black vs glossy. It actually turned out really well so I don't feel the need to change it but I do want it to look factory. I'd love to see a factory black badge in person.

It always seems like I am the only one that likes the shiny chrome badges including the GT one on the trunk lid. I've been thinking of going black badges but something keeps holding me back.
It all depends on the themes you go with on a car. If you are going for a blacked out murder look then black badges work well. If you're going for a theme that makes accents pop then the chrome look better. I did the blackout with the white GT now I am going with accents on this Kona and enjoy the chrome badging, including the grill pony.

Pretty amazing.

To recap...
M-1447-M50AB is a left and right set with a MSPR of 39.00

GR3Z-16228-A and GR3Z-16228-B are the idivdiual left parts numbers. MSPR of 45 each.

I order M-1447-M50AB. The box has the part number on the exterior. Inside are part numbers GR3Z-16228-A and GR3Z-16228-B.

$50 savings by buying M-1447-M50AB.
