I'm in Flower Mound, not too far away. I work most Fridays though and don't get off till 7:00. Saturdays would probably work a little better for me, I work less Saturdays but I don't mind getting there a little later if need be. Heck we could go to the same spot in case anyone who was used to...
I still haven't found any meet ups, the one talked about above doesn't seem to be going on any more, at least the times I've gone over there since originally hearing about it so I haven't a clue unfortunately. Heck, maybe we should just start having people meet up there lol.
I was wondering if anyone knows any good dyno tuners in the Dallas area? I had planned in a lund tune but was curious if there was any reputable tuners here. Thanks.
I was curious what modification you need to make to get a Pmas for a 2015 to mount to a 18 mani? Externally I thought 15 and 18 manifold were the same but I saw on American Muscle that it wont fit. I assume you have to get a different coupler but was curious what people have done to make it...
Nice, good wife!
To be honest I haven't kept up with it but the fuel system is what I've read is the biggest improvement. The intake manifold as well. Low end torque depends on which intake manifold you get.
You usually see max 460ish and that is with e85.
That was an e85 tune as well plus the tuner. Price will vary depending on what brand of parts you get. Some headers alone run right at 2 grand. Just guesstimating I'd probably say around 5 grand give or take. Again this depends on if you get top tier or not.
450 yes, 500 NA no.
Standard operating procedure is CAI, exhaust, intake manifold, injectors, headers and tune. Maybe throw in a bigger throttle body for good measure. That would be a full bolt on car.
I have the PP so I don't have the spoiler or experience with any, that being said I was going to see if you had checked out any of American Muscle, Late Model Restoration or CJ Pony Parts videos because they have a ton of videos and I'm sure they've reviewed some.
Thanks, I did the plastidip to kinda test it out being flat black vs glossy. It actually turned out really well so I don't feel the need to change it but I do want it to look factory. I'd love to see a factory black badge in person.
Yeah that's what I was trying to figure out as well. When my wifes Mini Cooper was done they did the plug in deal also. You had to drive around for so many hours with it plugged in. Maybe each county is different because I think I've seen some parts of TX that don't even have inspections. May...
Yeah I was looking at those headers, seem like a great deal. How have the inspections been with those on there? They say anything to you when you had it inspected?
Just wondering what people do around the DFW area when it comes to emissions inspections when going catless? It seems like way to much of a pain to put the stockers back on. I was thinking some of the headers may have cats that can be swapped to free flow sections when not getting inspected...
