Black exhaust tips

I can't stand chrome!! Has anyone removed the fake tips and had the painted or powder coated black? Just wondering how hard it is to remove the tips and if you have to pull the rear bumper off?? Thanks for the help

My inner exhaust tips stay black.... the outer tips is the one that needs the cosmetic work :lol:

Lol. I have a black car so I just don't wash my exhaust tips. stay pretty black. shrugs.

I thought about pulling mine off when I had the rear shroud down and the exhaust off the car to add the diff cooler. Suffice it to say that after I looked at how they were attached I decided to just leave them in place. You don't have to remove the bumper cover, but they still looked like a PITA to remove to me. Sorry I don't have a photo and I can't be more specific on exactly how they are attached because I don't remember those details.
