Big scare this week

Well thought i was going to be coming on here telling everyone i hurt my motor.Kept getting a misfire on #6 cyl those that follow the coyote motor know about this cyl.Pulled the plug and it was black and little wet,car smoked bad on start up in the morning.Rest of the plugs were orange,normal for octanium.Switched coil and plug from #2 cyl,next day still fouled out.Now anxiety is kicking in lol,last hope was take my 2step off in hopes that is the problem,check the plug again today and never happier to see an orange plug.2step is 5months old.

Assuming an MSD 2 step as they are individual coil control. Did you check the wiring to #6 coil for an open circuit? Good possibility of that or a bad/ loose connection.

I have not checked to see if it is the box or the harness yet,just was a huge relief that i didnt wipe a ring out,that thing smoked bad in the morning start.Im going to ohm out the coil harness and if i cant find anything im going to send it back to msd,i did some research and they had some problems with them in 15,quite a few got sent back.

Yup it was the 2step going to send it back since its only been on the car for 5months.
