Has anyone in here done this?

trying to get my weight down as switching to bias plys up front will save me about 30lbs of rotational mass.

Curious on which bias plys you guys run and if you have ran with them in the front while having radials in the rear.

Thanks in advance

Not recommended but better than radial upfront and bias on the back!

I run 28x5x18 M&H bias fronts with 305 45 17 MT radials rears. No issues. Car was horrendous with 27x10.5x15 Hoosier Bias rears and bias fronts

My first pass on them was definitely interesting! I feel pretty comfortable on them now.

I will never race with another bias ply tire. Unless I build another full on drag car. The S550 doesn’t like the bias ply.

Why do you think that is? IRS or because the S550 weighs too much for bias slicks?

Could be the combination? But the 95 ran straight as an arrow on the slicks. The 15 feels like racing on ice.
