Strut tower and K-Braces are excellent. I'd do that plus the FRPP track handling pack or similar (springs, bars and dampers) and it'll be dialed in.

I think you're off a good start...personally I already received my K brace and strut tower brace, yet to receive the BMR lower K brace, cradle lockout kit, and vertical links. For some reason, I believe stiffening goes before dynamic, I'm not even sure that's even correct.

By the way, BmacIL, just finished your GT350 springs on a GT post, how do they perform? I'm considering those because I want to improve handling without a drop.

Haven't done it yet. You'll definitely want a better damper than the PP for those springs. It'll be OK, but not controlled well. It should work very well.

BmacIL, can you post or PM me the part numbers of the parts required?

If I remember, it's driver front, passenger front, 2x driver rear springs plus 2x driver rear seats. Since you mentioned dampers, which one do you recommend, Konis, or maybe FR track?

Front springs: FR3Z-5310-M (GT350R)
Rear springs: FR3Z-5560-T
Still no luck on the rear seats, you probably just need to buy them through fordparts.com (more expensive than the dealer parts stores, but not crazy):

and
http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/P...search=true&year=2016&make=Ford&model=Mustang
Edit: They're either FR3Z-5586-B or FR3Z-5586-C.

Add'l food for thought:
The GT350 rear bar is part number FR3Z-5A772-E
The GT350R rear bar is part number FR3Z-5A772-G

I would probably do the Koni. For ~$200 more you get a lot more. The FR track are certainly better than the PP dampers, though.

I bought a Base, ordered the FRPP Track Pack and never looked back. I replaced all the Base suspension: shocks, struts, springs, swaybars, bushings, toe links, I mean everything with that pretty Ford Racing blue. :ford: The jump from Base handling to Track-level handling was R.I.D.I.C.U.L.O.U.S. The GT feels light on her feet again and goes where you tell her to go. No wheel hop, no body lean, no problems driving on bad roads... little bumpier though, steering is immediate, and I just can't stop myself from entering and exiting every curb as hard and fast as I possibly can (safely). The track pack is what the PP should have been, imo. Paired with some decent tires and you've got yourself one killer road demon. The FRPP Track Pack is an excellent value for the money. All told dropped the car 1". Although there are definitely several other great vendors here lile BMR and Steeda who can help too :clap2:

I see the the FRPP Pack listed anywhere from $1799, $1499, and $1299, but the best price for Ford legit stuff comes from Levittown. They have the FRPP Track Pack for $1092, less if you use your forum discount. Benny is great to work with, I've bought several things from them.

Thanks for posting this. Seems cheap compared to aftermarket springs. I'm planning to get these next month, is there anything else I need apart from the 4 springs and 4 seats?

Curious about the sway bar...how's the fitment? Any advantage over aftermarket offerings (aFe, BMR, FR)? I have always wondered if there were actual ratings on sways (should be similar to springs, I guess).

All sway bar options, I have Steeda, will have similar results. They're all basically the same size and stiffness, more or less. You'll see when you put the front one in, you can't really get much bigger up front. You could do a solid bar, but you don't need that stiffness. If you just want to improve things and not go tracking it later, get the Ford Performance track package, install all of it, and you'll be happy. For a few hundred or so more, you can have a full Steeda/Koni damper package with springs and sways. I'd save IRS modifications for LAST because those may not be necessary for your goals.

The downside to the GT350 sway bars is that they're not adjustable and are certainly less stiff than the aftermarket bars in their stiffer settings. The upside is cost for improved handling. The rears will fit inside PP bushings as the OD is the same. The fronts are bigger (nearly certain, but could be wrong) and will need the unique bushing mounts (not sure if the bushings are attached to the bar like the front PP bar).

I would not get GT350 bars. Get anybody's adjustable bars - you'll be happy with either of them. I like Steeda's because they're blue and I like how they didn't use coined ends and they have 4 adjustment points up front to everyone else's 3. I've been in cars with Eibach bars, too - great. I've been in cars with aFe bars - great. You will not actually notice a difference between sway bars. I'd argue Steeda's are more durable, but my bet is I'd never be able to "break" anyone else's coined-end bars. I think AFE's bars aren't coined, but they're ORANGE! :(

Also, don't get a lower K-brace from BMR or Steeda unless you want to sign up for a very stiff chassis that transmits more road and general chassis noise. I've had BMR's and Steeda's. Remove them and you'll notice what noise you added. Nothing terrible, but honestly... you don't need those unless you're going to play on a track. And even then... some people don't like them - I know a guy that took his off and got better times. I like having them because I prefer my car to be as stiff as granite. The upper K-brace and strut tower brace will suffice for 99% of people and it doesn't require you to venture under the car. Cool thing about the front brace, though, is they add protection in a very open area around the oil pan in-case you hit a bump just right and bottom out there. Not likely you ever will, but... nice to have, I guess.

Thanks to y'alls input on the sways.

I went precisely with the BMR brace because I wanted a stiff as granite car, I always do stiffening first. My brother would probably argue that it might cause some understeer, as you might lose a tiny tiny bit of front traction. For 100 bucks, it won't hurt me too much to be swapping it in and out to test.

About the sways, I asked because the 350 ones were cheap...but I worry more about the fitment, probably is not worth it.

I particularly like the aFe sways...to go with my comp orange!!!

Aesthetic reasons aside, I like aFe stuff, they seem to be well engineered

Agree completely I have to get my track pack installed here is the strut tower brace. Track pack and all FRPP parts from Levittown cannot be beat. The strut tower brace I did myself and made a huge difference...if you drive across railroad tracks for instance the car used to shake in 10 different directions now it feels together ...that is the best explanation I can give.
