Big thanks to Terry and all the guys at Finishline! Near stock "drivability" (better throttle response actually), with explosive acceleration. Very happy with the cars performance, the kit, and the Lund tune. Added my Dusold front grill, EB Boost gauge, and removed the hood liner after I drove it home. The Car made 622 RWHP and 472 ft-lbs of Torque with stock exhaust (Roush axleback and resonator delete)

I think "Team Beefcake" under delivered! I remember him saying that his kit would make more hp & torque on less boost than the Whipple kit would out of the box, and that it would be 2-3k less $. As I see this kit on his website, this pkg is @ $6800.00 and these dyno #'s are much lower than the Whipple kit out of the box.

this package is my $5899 package, and that is with id1000s and a bap and a custom tune, and the power on the v3 is right where it should be, especially considering still running through the factory cats.

not everyone is looking to push the limits of the stock engine and be on the edge, the v3 is very efficient at this level

for the same $, you can do a Paxton 2200 SL head unit, and should have more growing room, we've had cars go as quick as 8.9's on the 2200 head unit.

I can set the package up however you want.

for example this customer wanted the oil fed jt head unit. a $400 upgrade

it's not a $6800 package, its the package we have on the site for $5899,

and the package above I just referenced at $6299, put down 737.

not sure why you need to come to a vortech install thread to try to justify to yourself what you spent.

again, customer I posted above, went with a standard satin kit @ a $400 upgrade, and for under 6200 is making 734...

if you want to push this kit, it can be pushed,

I have customers with the v3 going 9.5's in the 1/4 making 750 rwhp.

this customer did not want that kind of power. if you want it, it's there

exactly, i don't understand the point of trying to make customers purchase look bad

My Kit was around $7K, but the finish of the kit and the BOV doesn't make the car produce more RWHP - lol, just personal preference. I don't work for any of these companies, so I have no emotional attachment. I'll be taking my car to the track when I'm finished with the rear end, and those are the only numbers that really count to me. If you like the much heavier, more expensive, and prone to heat soak kit, good deal... sorry, couldn't resist ;)

Ronnie at rev went 8.9's with it on his 14,

lewis opted to make in the low 6's, it would have been just as easy for the pulley he picked to go over 700, customer choice.

and again, still way above the mid 5's posted for much more money, on smaller injectors and no bap, in the link I posted
