Battery dress up

Have any of you car show guys done anything to the battery/battery box?

Looking for some ideas that would eliminate the factory cover and dress up the box. Thinking about an Optima Yellow battery for looks and some sort of dressed up cover or trim around the lip of the box.

Yeah, I have seen that one before. I'd like to use the factory box and just dress it up somehow. I may try taking out the entire factory box and go from there.

No problem. How about taking the stock box out and hydrodipping it? I plan on giving hydrodip a shot in the future as it doesn't look too difficult and my painter told me that it really isn't that hard. There are paints you can go directly to plastic with nothing but cleaning the part prior (no primer, no sanding) to use as your base coat, then the film.
