It is ridiculously difficult to change the batteries in the fob. My wife’s Infiniti is no better. Is this the best they could do? And no, I don’t want the dealer to do it
It is a miracle I did not crack the casing

Mine recently went through the washer and dryer. I took it apart to dry out. It was indeed a pain to take apart. That fob is really over engineered, and overly complicated. The good news is that the remote still works OK, even with the same batteries!

how long should batteries last? I started getting a low battery warning for my FOB which is just about 3 years old.

Put in a new set of C2025 batteries. Checked the voltage on the "low" batteries just removed and they were at 3 volts each, not low at all
