From what i have read on here, no one seems to really know. Just that they are better than a GT PP setup. I would like to find out as well, since that is what I ordered.

I used to wonder what dampers it has just like you do.

However, ever since my GT350 was delivered, I kind of forgot about it. The car rides very very smoothly, and it handles corners very well. I guess that is why I didn't even bother to find out what dampers it has.

I did look at the dampers and it definitely wasn't MagnaRide. It said something like "danger, high pressure compressed fluid", or something similar to that. I don't know the part number, I will have to take a better look when I have time.

How about your local Ford parts department?

Here it is. I finally got a chance to take a picture of the part number on the shocks of the Base GT350. Let me know what you find.

I cannot find the part number anywhere online. It seems like it is a myth... Maybe Ford doesn't want anyone to know what dampers they are using...

Haven't found anything. Niet, nada. I'll try Ford's facebook page.

The part number on that shock is the manufacturer's number. What is needed is the part order number. Consult your Ford parts guy.

Correction; The number on that shock is the "engineering" number, not the actual part number. Ask your Ford parts guy to look up a base Shelby front shock for the number, description, and interchange, if any.

Well at least it's "only" $231 instead of the $650 magnaride ones. Still a twice as much as the GTPP shocks though. Maybe a case of the proprietary syndrome like the oil filter.
