Stuck between the Barton short throw shifter https://www.americanmuscle.com/barton-short-shifter-2post-bracket-1516.html and the ford performance short throw https://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-short-shifter-2015gt.html

Wanted to get some opinions on what the better option was.
Of the two, go Barton for the 2-post bracket.

Really though, don't bother with either and do MGW or Barton Hybird 3 w/ trans mount. You won't regret it, and this short throw kit doesn't solve a lot of the shifter's issues (body mount means misalignment & high rpm lockout, stock shifter is sloppy because of the multi-joint linkage and plastic components). The amount of work is not that much different.

I really like my Barton. Got to feel the MGW this friday at MW. Feels great, but can't do the push down for reverse. Seriously, I had a pain shooting in my shoulder when going into reverse. Granted, I was standing while testing it, not sitting in a car.

....And I'm an old fart too.

Get the MGW shifter, out of everything in my signature it's literally my favorite mod.
