I'm in the same boat, I want to upgrade the shifter but I don't know which one to get. I've used MGW in the past on other transmissions but those were not remote mounted so it was way less complex. I really like the options the Barton gives but I've seen MGW quality first hand as well.

I was on the fence between MGW and the Barton for a while. I ended up going with the Barton and have no complaints, it's a great piece! As others have mentioned the shifts are super crisp. I'm using both springs as well.

Decided to go with the black flat stick with white nob. Personally, for me I liked the push-down reverse style option that came with this rather than the pull-up collar. That's always looked bulky to me.
