Bad car wreck Sunday, advice needed

my insurance company insisted all parts be OEM or OEM approved ( like roush ) or they refused to use them. i was actually waiting on factory parts that were back ordered and asked them to just put a used part on instead and they refused, and they opted to pay for my rental for another 20 days for me to wait. i did not have the rental car coverage as part of my policy. all in all after reading these comments here im glad i switched from geico to state farm last year, lower rates and good repair policies and service. not all insurance companies are out to screw ya during repairs.

When my truck was stolen and has never been seen or heard from again i had state farm and they did right by me. Now when in went to usaa i found out i was being charged for 2 wrecks that i was not at fault in

State Farm Insurance has been great to me.

They replaced my entire Ford Probe GT for some water damage to the engine when I tried to drive it across a flooded street and sucked water up into the cylinders via the air dam intake on the bottom front of the car.

Then they totaled my Grand Prix GTP for rust non related to a minor fender bender and gave me about $2000 over what the car was worth at that point.

Great company in my opinion.

Hopefully I never have to bring in my Mustang to them, lol.

The kid probably got bailed out and will pay nothing and go on about his life as usual :doh:

hes screwed if he got busted on a dwi charged. the higher insurance, laywer fees add up. that alone would make me feel better that this piece of shit is screwed
