Hello everyone! I have a 17 PP that is procharged. I have an adapter to replace the oil pressure./vacuum cluster with autometer gauges.

Now, the shop i'm considering using is asking me if it has everything needed for install. Besides the 2 gauges (the electric ones) from Autometer. Is there anything further to make them work?

Thanks!

Boost will only need the tubing or upgrade to the copper line, tap it off the intake. I ran a mechanical oil pressure gauge on my 03- Procharged Mach, I think you get a true reading versus a calculated measurement.

Got it thanks! The shop was more concerned about the Oil Pressure Gauge. They think i'll need some sort of extra fitting.

Depending if you have a spare port where the factory oil sender is, you can add yours and keep both gauges functioning.

NEVER used the capillary plastic tubing or copper line supplied for a mechanical oil or fuel gauge. Only use the AutoMeter stainless steel braided lines. Plastic capillary lines are known to break/crack and the compression fittings used on both capillary plastic lines and copper are known to leak if tweaked.

Also to note, if your car is tracked. It won't be allowed to participate if it's seen to have mechanical gauges in the interior without stainless steel lines.

Electric gauges are setup differently and usually don't have fuel or oil lines going direct to the gauges into the cabin. They're tapped into vehicle harnesses OR run direct wire to sensor on the engine.

Thanks for the information regarding the copper lines for oil pressure. I did not know they had to stainless as well to race. I have always used them for fuel pressure gauges.
